Hi there!

I am sorry for a bit delay. Since two weeks ago, I have been sick. I have had a really bad cold, and between my husband and me, we are passing it around to each other for awhile.
Now, I am feeling better.

Today I want to show you my tulip vase.

This is an assignment for my painting school. I designed the tulips with a modern design on the vase. My teacher didn’t like it, but I love it, lol.

Now, I am painting an Imari piece with the Japanese style and my other assignment for my school. You will see them soon!

Have a lovely weekend, everyone!

See you next week on my blog!

What I learned in Michigan Porcelain Painting School ~Part 2

Hello there! How are you doing?

It’s getting hotter in Japan, and my hate season is coming. We are in a rainy season now.

Well, today I want to share my modern piece with you. I learned how to design modern patterns last month by Paula White in Michigan school. The class was very interesting. She showed several samples how to design modern patterns, and we ourselves designed our original design with Paula’s help.

I prefer traditional patterns and I am lack of experiences. However, since Paula was a excellent teacher, I really enjoyed designing my piece.

I hope you all like my modern piece.

Learning new things is so much fun and I just can’t stop it!!

Have a lovely weekend!

Roses!

Posted in Dresden, European Style, flower painting with tags , , , on June 4, 2015 by yumi

Hi there!

I am so glad that I am here again this time!!! How are you doing, everyone?

I’m enjoying early summer season in Japan while painting, gardening, reading, or sometimes playing with my kitty, Jiji.

Today I want to show my rose painting. A couple of months ago, I returned to my previous porcelain painting school in Japan to graduate from there. I want to get a diploma and start teaching at my painting studio.

This plate is one of subjects in my school. We receive subjects, in this case, roses, and create a design with roses. I added several different flowers and butterflies. This is only one fire. I hope you like it.
